This is my daughter riding, and while Kat only weighs 95 lbs. dripping wet, she can control this beast with no problem (okay, the beast is a sweetheart who wouldn't flick her tail at a fly, but still.)
I'm the one cowering in fear behind the camera.

This was the house where my grandmother was born and spent her entire childhood. I just found out last night that it burned to the ground back in April. I'm sorry to see it's gone; her family built back in the 19th century and it was an old but beautiful place.

I wish I could have gotten a better shot of this, but it was not to be. It frustrates me to shoot photos of spider webs because unless they're covered with dew they barely show up. This looks like one giant web, but there were actually a series of three built in vertical layers to each other.

These are the eight goodie bags (already packed with neat writer stuff) and about three-quarters of the books I'll be giving away this week during my summer virtual writing workshops over at my author blog, along with other cool writer and reader stuff.
Still have to haul down a few boxes and all the hardcovers from the bookroom. Puff, puff.
