Thank you, ladies. I darkened the exposure a little on this one to emphasize the shadows and contrasts, and I thought it came out rather well. :)

Absolutely gorgeous! I love roses. Can't have too many in my yard. That shot really sets them off beautifully. Do you know what kind these are?

Have no idea. One of my friends is a rose expert, and I'm going to have her look at the bush the next time I can lure her for a visit. I think it's an old heirloom variety; they have a million petals and smell like baby powder.

I'm very partial to the heirloom variety. David Austin roses are my favorites. They'll knock your socks off with the scent. I had them surrounding my patio at our last house and oh, to sit out there in the morning with my coffee. Wonderful! So if you get it identified, I'd love to know. And if you're interested (I don't know if I should plug something here or not) email me and I can tell you where I buy them. Healthy, robust, gorgeous bushes that really do well in most conditions.
