Looks like a Black Crested Titmouse, though I could be wrong.
Maybe he's just a Tufted Titmouse. He'd be out of his range if he were a Black Crested. Then again, maybe no one told him what his range is ;o)
Thanks for the ID, Theo! After studying the pics of both birds I think he might have been a Black Crested, as the Tufted variety has a much lighter head. I did find a really good picture of the Black Crested that looks just like mine:http://www.audubonbirds.org/species/Birds/Black-crested-Titmouse.htmlI'll try to get more shots of him to confirm if he hangs out at my feeders.
I think it is the Black Crested. The only reason I knew it was a Titmouse is because I have hundreds of them on my feeders all the time. Cheeky little buggers too! But they are fun to watch. I think someone should tell Audubon though that they're branching out.
