I bought this basket of house plants for my Mom last week (she loves plants) and she's been keeping it in her room. When she brought it out yesterday to let it sit in a sunnier window, she pointed out something neat.
The twisted, bare brown twigs in the basket, which we assumed were just some dead sticks stuck in for ornamental purposes, had begun sprouting wee green leaves.
I've heard of this happening but I've never seen it, so it was very cool. I think my mom can grow anything.
